  • IMPORTANT
    • UBUNTU 14.04 SUPPORT: Ubuntu 14.04 is no longer supported due to official end of life in April 2019. Please upgrade to Ubuntu 16 or later before updating to this version to avoid issues!
    • 32-BIT SUPPORT: 32 Bit operating system (both Windows and Ubuntu Linux) installation packages are no longer supported. If you have a system with any 32-bit server, the upgrade will not work.

    • H.265 for ONVIF Devices – The H.265 codec is now supported for cameras detected and managed via ONVIF.
    • Layout-as-an-Action – A predefined layout can be opened when an event occurs.
    • Secure Export – EXE and NOV exported files can be protected by a password (option is only available only if export a single stream, not Multi-Video).
    • Failover on Storage Failure – Failover now also occurs when all designated storage drives fail on a Server.
    • Virtual Camera – Users can now import offline video files (from wearable cameras, action cams, drones, etc) into archive and associate with a virtual camera which can be used like other cameras in a system.
